The Manager List in eQA is where you can assign employees to yourself, or another Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By having an Employee assigned to a manager it streamlines the QA process by auto-filling that Managers information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also helps with Reporting consistency, accuracy, and tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below we will deep dive into the various features and functionality possible from the Manager List page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can access this page from the navigation bar by expanding the \u201ceQA \u2013 Admin\u201d menu, then click \u201cManager List\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standard User accounts do not have access to the Manager List. If you do not see \u201cManager List\u201d, and believe that you should, please let us know. We will work with your company contact to ensure appropriate permissions.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The \u201ceQA Managers List\u201d is a list of all the active \u201cManagers\u201d in the electronic Quality Assurance system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the example screenshot, the mostly empty row indicates that there are 30 Employees in the system without a Manager assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fields available are:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Manager Name \u2013 The name of the manager that will be conducting QA\u2019s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Manager ID \u2013 The ID of the manager that will be conducting QA\u2019s<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Director Name \u2013 The name of the managers Director<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Director ID \u2013 The ID of the managers Director<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Regional Name \u2013 The name of the managers Regional Director<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Regional ID \u2013 The ID of the managers Regional Director<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Employees \u2013 This is a count of the employees assigned to the manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Assign \u2013 Here you can immediately assign a Manager to yourself by clicking \u2018Me\u2019 or open the form to assign to \u2018Someone Else\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    This is how these fields are used in the system:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Manager Name and Manager ID \u2013 Having an Employee assigned to a Manager has several benefits:\n

      • Auto-populates the name, ID, Director, and other fields when the Employee code is scanned<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Streamlines reporting connections, improves reporting consistency, and helps to make connections across reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Populates the \u201cEmployee Reports\u201d by showing the Employees that are assigned to the signed in Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Director Name and Director ID \u2013 Assigning the Manager to a Director has the following benefits:\n
          \n
        • Streamlines reporting connections, improves reporting consistency, and helps to make connections across reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Populates the \u201cManager Reports\u201d by showing the Managers that are assigned to the signed in Director.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Populates the \u201cEmployee Reports\u201d by showing the Employees that are assigned to the signed in Manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Enables the connections between the Manager, Director and Organization reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Regional Name and Regional ID \u2013 Assigning the Regional Director has the following benefits:\n

          • Enables the connections across all levels of Management to the Organization reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Employees \u2013 You can use this value for the following:\n
              \n
            • Quickly see if a Manager has the correct number of people reporting to them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Verify the Manager has the correct Director and Regional Director assigned.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Quickly get to a list of Employees that need to be assigned, or reassigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Assign \u2013 This quick action column allows the following:\n
                \n
              • One-click to assign a Manager to yourself by clicking \u201cMe\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Enter the process to assign a Manager to someone else by clicking \u201cSomeone Else\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
