Before you can start tracking, collecting and reporting on anything, you have to get some QA\u2019s into the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standard User accounts do not have access to create QA\u2019s. If you do not see \u201cAdd 1 Employee\u201d or \u201cBulk Add Employees\u201d, and believe that you should, please let us know. We will work with your company contact to ensure appropriate permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways to add QA\u2019s. You can either add them one at a time or you can load them in bulk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the navigation bar, expand the menu, then click \u201cAdd 1 Employee\u201d to create one QA at a time, or click the \u201cBulk Add Employees\u201d to load several at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will detail both options below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add 1 New QA \u2013 Short Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Note: The Short Form uses a \u201cStandard Title\u201d. If you have not added any Standard Titles to the system, the drop-down list may be limited. For instructions for creating Standard Titles, see the article Adding Standard Titles and Tasks in eQA<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. From the navigation bar, expand the \u201ceQA \u2013 Admin\u201d menu, then click \u201cAdd 1 Employee\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Enter the Employee Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Enter the Employee ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select a \u201cStandard Title\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Enter Optional Notes or Comments<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click the \u201cAdd Employee\u201d button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Once the QA has been added, it is available to print through \u201cExport Employees\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Add 1 New QA \u2013 Long Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Note: The Long Form is mainly used with a \u201cStandard Title\u201d has not been added to the system, or it is unavailable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. From the navigation bar, expand the \u201ceQA \u2013 Admin\u201d menu, then click \u201cAdd 1 Employee\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click the \u201cSwitch to Long Form\u201d button at the top of the form<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Enter the values for the Employee (QA) you would like to add\n
        \n
      • Employee Name = Enter the name of the Employee as you would like it to appear in reports and when QA\u2019s are conducted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Employee ID = The ID of the Employee that will be QA\u2019d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Task 1 \u2013 Task 25 = The item, or task, that is to be checked for the Employee QA. Essentially, this is the checklist to be reviewed during the QA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click the \u201cAdd Employee\u201d button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Once the QA has been added, it is available to print through \u201cExport Employees\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Bulk Add Employees<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. From the navigation bar, expand the menu, then click \u201cBulk Add Employees\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Download a fresh template using the \u201cDownload\u201d button, if you already have the template you can skip this step.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Fill in the template with as many new QA\u2019s as you would like. There are several columns in the template:
          • employee_name = The Name of the Employee that will be QA\u2019d<\/li><\/ul>\n

            • employee_id = The ID of the Employee that will be QA\u2019d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • step_1_name \u2013 step_25_name = The Checks that should be conducted, up to 25 per QA, or row<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • company_abbr = This is the abbreviation for your company account<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Save the completed template to your local system<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Click the \u201cChoose File\u201d button and locate the template that you just saved<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Click \u201cUpload\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Once the Scans have been loaded, they are available to print through \u201cExport Scans\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              Troubleshooting Bulk Add Employees, or QA\u2019s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              If you are unable to find the Employee that you added to the system please check the following. These are the most common reasons an Employee does not show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Refresh the page. Sometimes the page gets cached in the browser and may not display the most recent data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Incorrect value in the \u201ccompany_abbr\u201d field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Correct \u201ccompany_abbr\u201d value but it is in the wrong column. For example, if I put \u201cdhcs\u201d (my company_abbr) in the \u201cstep_25_name\u201d column, it will not show in my account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • If the file fails to upload, please make sure the file is saved as a .csv. It is always a good idea to download a fresh copy of the template as the fields may have changed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
