Once the QR Codes, sometimes referred to as barcodes, are in place they are ready for conducting Assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most devices include a barcode scanner on the camera by default, but if not, any \u201cBarcode\u201d or \u201cQR Code\u201d reader app will work. All these devices are supported out of the box. No extra hardware or software needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your device will need an internet connection. Any decent stable WiFi connection or mobile carrier will work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scanning the QR Code or Barcode:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Open the reader<\/strong> app on your device\n
      \n
    • This can be the camera with QR code reader built-in or any standalone, free, Barcode\/QR Code reader app<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Allow the app to scan the code<\/strong> which will open the default browser on your device<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Choose the type of visit Assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Press the Patient Visit<\/strong> button to begin a Patient Visit Assessment<\/strong>\n

      1. Answer each question<\/strong>, marking \u201cYes\u201d or \u201cNo\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Enter \u201cYour Name\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Enter your \u201cEmployee ID Number\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click \u201cSubmit\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. You can be done<\/strong> here, or proceed to upload an image<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. To upload, click the \u201cUpload Image\u201d<\/strong> button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. Click \u201cChoose File\u201d<\/strong>, this will open a dialog on your device\n
          \n
        • Take a new photo<\/strong> (this is the most common)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Select an image from your device<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Click \u201cUpload Image\u201d<\/strong> to send the image to the system and attach it to the Assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Once you receive the \u201cUpload Complete\u201d<\/strong> message, you are finished <\/strong>uploading and attaching the image to the Assessment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Press the Discharge Room<\/strong> button to begin a Discharge Room Assessment<\/strong>\n

          1. Answer each question<\/strong>, marking \u201cYes\u201d or \u201cNo\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Enter \u201cYour Name\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Enter your \u201cEmployee ID Number\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Click \u201cSubmit\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
